Wilkes County Schools hosted the County Spelling Bee on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. All participating schools were well-represented. Wilkes County Schools is hosting a holiday art contest for all WCS students! One winner will be selected from each of the three categories: elementary, middle, and high school. Our school system wants to give back to our neighbors in Ashe County who were impacted by Hurricane Helene. We are collecting items for care packages that will be delivered in December. The WCS Marching Band Expo will be held on Saturday, November 9th at 10 AM at West Wilkes High School. Admission is $5 with all proceeds going to assist hurricane relief efforts in Ashe County.
